Ex Nihilo Web Site Design is owned and operated by Melissa Wells, a web developer with both corporate and small business experience. While studying Research and Information Technology at Sheridan College in Oakville, Melissa became aware of the upcoming trends in the computer industry and decided to focus her future on web development.

Upon graduation, Melissa was immediately hired by Royal LePage Real Estate's Web Site Design Department. Working at the Canadian head office in Toronto as the Internet Coordinator, Melissa received the training and background that would later allow her to start her own business. After a few months at Royal LePage, Melissa was promoted and went from maintaining the corporate site (www.royallepage.ca) to managing the creation of individual agent sites across Canada. This role included client services, managing and organizing sub-contractors, maintaining, updating and hosting over one hundred web sites and marketing for new business. While employed at Royal LePage, Melissa received training on Macromedia Flash, Dreamweaver, Fireworks and HomeSite, in an effort to remain competitive in a continually evolving technological environment.

Although Melissa enjoyed her work at Royal LePage, a move for her husband's career caused her to resign for her position and start working for herself. Ex Nihilo Web Site Design is the result of that effort and it has enjoyed success with several satisfied clients.

Ex Nihilo Web Site Design has served clients across Canada and across the business sectors. From an agricultural company in Alberta, to an art society in Toronto, financial planners, translators and carpenters alike are pleased and satisfied with the service that they receive from Ex Nihilo!
